Took my 9 week old puppy to this vet and had the puppy pack which included all injections, microchip and flea/worm treatment as well as insurance. I thought it was a good deal. I paid part of it to cover the costs of the treatment carried out that day. Over the next 36hrs my pup took a turn for the worse, I tried to contact out of hours and didn’t get through so rushed my baby to another vets and ended up with a £2000 bill, the insurance I wasn’t able to use as it wasn’t at a Severn edge practice. Then the kick in the teeth was my puppy ended up dead from parvo, was told this could have been down to an overdose administered by the vets as parvo is a live vaccine. It was then followed up with calls and letters requesting payment for the treatment that hadn’t taken place due to the passing. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard of pups being killed this way, so be warned money is their priority, the animals health comes after.

I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received early this evening. From the point of reception through to the actions of the veterinary surgeon. A neighbour has been feeding an old cat since its owner died. It lived outside in a shed but was warm and cared for. The neighbour is on holiday at the moment and another neighbour and myself have shared responsibility for feeding her. Late afternoon she was found in a very distressed state. I phoned Seven Edge where my dog is registered and the receptionist was so helpful offering an immediate appointment. We did not have to wait long and there was no option but for the cat to be euthanised. The vet was so kind, compassionate and put the needs of the cat first. Thank you so much for a first class service. I will not hesitate to recommend you to friends and family.

Lovely clinic, all of the staff are brilliant with both myself my boy and he’s always wanting to go back. I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done for us both, definitely would and have recommended.

Thank you so much for looking after my pup at short notice while we're nearby on holiday! Everyone was so lovely while I was being squeamish about a tick on her eyelid. All better now and happily playing with her new squeaky strawberry we bought while we were there 😊

I feel saddened & disappointed to be writing this review. I’ve been registered with Severn Edge since relocating to Church Stretton 3 years ago. We have 1 dog and 2 cats and have spent a lot of money with them during this time. When our old boy passed away last year we adopted a rescue dog from Hilbrae. He was too young to be neutered, so Hilbrae kindly provided us with a £50 voucher that we could use against the cost of neutering in the future. We just had to check with our vet that they accepted this type of voucher. I did the right thing and checked on several occasions that they would accept it. I even left it with them on one occasion so they could double check with a vet. Every time I was given the same answer “Yes, we will accept this voucher”. Yet, just 2 days after our boy was neutered, I was contacted to say we still owed £50 as they do not accept the voucher. No amount of common sense conversations would alter the outcome. I paid the £50, as it was the principle I disagreed with not the amount of money, but, in my experience, it seems that the outstanding money was ultimately all they were interested in. I was also told by Faye on reception that she would speak with a manager about the situation, and come back to me in a day or two. A month on and I’ve heard nothing. Having worked in the service industry all my adult life, I’ve found it’s often wise & good PR to hold your hands up, admit you made a mistake and “do the right thing”. Good old fashioned PR goes a long way in terms of client care, satisfaction & retention. I’m currently in the process of re-registering all of our pets with another local veterinary practice who have come highly recommended to us. In the grand scheme of things, it’s a lot more than £50 that has walked out of the door…
